Industrial Yarns has the technology to produce 100% Australian Made Cotton Candlewicks in both twisted and flat braid styles.

The cotton candlewicks can be supplied on small tubes or bulk packs depending on our individual customers needs. The bulk packs are generally used for extrusion, where a machine extrudes the wick from the pack; the small tubes are more commonly used in the processes of dipping and/ or pouring the wax over the wick.  

Usually flat braid wicks are described by the number of plies in the wick, therefore the more plies in the wick the larger it is. Common flat braid wick sizes are 12 ply (extra small), 15 ply (small), 30 ply (medium), 39 ply (large) and 60 ply (extra large).

A table of both twisted braid and flat braid wicks we supply are shown on our specifications page. We suggest you sample and test burn our wicks to determine which candlewicks size best suits your requirements.
